If you have extremely dry skin and get patchy-looking dead skin very often, the following are the things that might help you.- Wash your face with hydrating face wash, apply and leave it for 30 seconds and rinse. It will help your skin to seep in the hydration and loosen up your dead skin cells and remove the patchiness which can further make your makeup look patchy.- Toner is an additional step for dry skin. One can skip on that but if you want to use a toner, get any but make sure it should not be drying or oil-controlling. You can use rosewater or a toner containing chamomile essence.- Apply a serum containing hyaluronic acid which will plump your skin and lock in the hydration. Follow it up with a heavy moisturizer and give it some time to seep into the skin.- If your skin is very extremely dry due to weather changes, use a mask sheet instead of serum which will provide you an instant boost of hydration.- Use a nourishing and hydrating primer skin, you can simply go with any hydration boosting primers or priming oils.- Add niacinamide to your skincare routine to strengthen your skin barriers.
